Dr. Wessell was raised in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was an active member on campus and volunteered his time as the school’s mascot, Bucky Badger. Upon graduation, he continued his education at the Marquette University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Following graduation from Dental School, Dr. Wessell has vigorously pursued postgraduate training from some of the world’s leading experts in the areas of implant, cosmetic, and minimally invasive dentistry. He applies this knowledge to help patients maintain smiles that are both beautiful and healthy. He is highly regarded for his expertise in Smile Design, Smile Rehabilitation, and Minimal/No-Prep Veneers.
“I chose dentistry because I have always had a natural artistic ability and an interest in the sciences. Growing up with a father who is a dentist, I gained exposure to dentistry and found it to be a nice blend of science and art. I really enjoy showing my patients what is possible with today’s modern technology and treatment approaches, especially when it comes to digital technology and smile design.”
Outside the office, Dr. Wessell enjoys the many outdoor activities that the Madison area has to offer. He likes golfing, cycling, UW sports, and loves spending time his wife MacKenzie, son Rowan, and golden retriever Finley.
