Crowns & Bridges

Your teeth are some of the most important functional features you have, but unfortunately, they cannot rebuild or regrow themselves. It is crucial to maintain consistent dental hygiene so that we can preserve our healthy teeth as long as possible.

However, even when you brush and floss diligently, you may fracture, break, or lose a tooth. Dr. Austin Wessell can utilize bridges and crowns to restore your smile so you can chew and speak easily again!

Get Your Smile Back

Whether you lose a tooth due to periodontal disease or physical trauma, the Madison Dentistry team will help you regain your beautiful smile. Dr. Wessell will study your smile and help you decide if porcelain crowns or dental bridges can best serve you.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges are a great way to replace missing teeth. Dr. Wessell will place crowns over your existing teeth and then create a bridge to fill the area of the missing tooth.

We design dental bridges with durable gold, metal, alloys, and porcelain. We will provide you with a temporary bridge while we wait for our lab to design your quality permanent restoration. If you are missing a tooth, you should replace it with a long-lasting dental bridge before you experience the side effects of tooth loss, like tooth shifting and jawbone deterioration.

Dental Crowns

Over time, our teeth begin to weaken, becoming more susceptible to decay and cracking. If you notice a damaged tooth, a dental crown may be necessary to prevent further breakage or tooth loss.

We design custom-fit crowns with porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, or gold. The process of installing a crown only requires 2 visits. On the first visit, we will shape the tooth, take impressions, and provide a temporary crown. On your second visit, we will check the color and shape of your new crown and then permanently bond it to the tooth.
